Last meeting of council term moved up two weeks

Excepting the need to call an emergency session, New Tecumseth council will hold its final meeting of the 2022-26 term, on Mon., Sept. 14.

​

That's moved up from the now cancelled Sept. 28 scheduled meeting. Also cancelled was a public planning meeting, Sept. 16.

​

The municipal elections will be held on Oct. 26. Candidates can start placing election signs out in public beginning Sept. 11.

​

Advance voting  begins October 13 at 12 pm to October 25.

​

The new council will be sworn in at the inaugural meeting, Nov. 16, starting at 6 pm.
