Toronto man killed in two-vehicle crash in Mono Township

Dufferin OPP continue to investigate a two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 24-year-old from Toronto.

​

At approximately 12:03 this morning (Sept. 29), emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Highway 10 between County Road 10 and County Road 8 in Mono following a collision involving two passenger vehicles, each occupied by a lone driver.

 

The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Tragically, the driver of the second vehicle, a 24-year-old male from Toronto, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) unit attended to assist with the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing.
