Angus, Beeton pair charged in car theft, cocaine trafficking

Two people are facing drug trafficking and car theft charges following execution of a search warrant at a residence in Angus yesterday by Nottawasaga Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Central Region Canine.

On May 15, OPP located and seized a 2016 Mercedes GLE 350 SUV at a Talsi Street address, valued at $40,000 that was reported stolen back in 2024. Officers seized 10 grams of cocaine and other drug trafficking packaging, scales and paraphernalia.

Colton Murphy, 30, of Angus is charged with :

• Possession property obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

• Possession  for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine

 

Kathryn Davenport, 23, of Beeton,is charged with:

• Possession property obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

• Possession for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine.
